Workplace violence can have a devastating effect on the productivity of a business and its employees. Employers are often unaware of the costs associated with just one violent incident on the job or how to protect their employees and prevent violent acts from occurring.  According to a recent survey, workplace violence poses the greatest security concern
to businesses.


Costs:

Violence on the job is increasing.  Each year employers report 2 million assaults in the workplace.  Another estimated 8 million assaults go unreported. Workplace violence accounts for nearly 20% of all violent crime, costing business owners $36 billion annually.
